Job summary

VodafoneThree is seeking a Technical Design Authority for Subscriber Management in Newbury, with hybrid; 37.5 hours per week. The role leads design, delivery and optimisation of Subscriber Data Management capabilities and end-to-end technology lifecycle for services in this domain.

You'll drive reliability, efficiency and cost-effectiveness through performance management and architecture leadership, collaborating with partners and internal teams to meet regulatory and business needs.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in a technical domain and setting quality standards.
• Ability to liaise between business, technical teams and 3rd parties to deliver requirements.
• Experience delivering to contractual/business outcomes and negotiating with 3rd parties.
• Deep understanding of 3G/4G/5G core networks and related systems such as UDM/UDR/SPR and HLR/HSS.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership from strategy to implementation and interface with internal and external teams.
• Direct development partners and internal teams to deliver new and enhanced system capabilities.
• Produce clear low/high level designs and a development plan.
• Drive partner management and maintain delivery standards.
• Derive the test strategy with QA teams across VodafoneThree and partner teams.
• Engage with technology and business stakeholders to ensure cross-functional collaboration.
• Guide partners on capability maturity and evolving technology trends.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement including release and test automation.
