Job summary

ARC Group is seeking a Senior Technical Coordinator to join our Cambridge team. You will lead the technical delivery and coordination of high-quality residential developments from pre-construction through to construction, ensuring regulatory compliance and buildability.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers and construction teams, driving design information, planning approvals and technical handover while mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Technical Coordinator or similar role within residential construction.
• Experience coordinating residential design and technical information.
• Understanding of the residential development process from pre-construction through delivery.
• Strong knowledge of planning, building regulations, statutory approvals and technical compliance.
• Knowledge of CDM, Building Regulations and current technical requirements.
• Understanding of Golden Thread information management.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of technical coordination across multiple residential developments.
• Coordinate design information and ensure delivery aligns with project programmes.
• Manage relationships with architects, engineers, consultants and specialist subcontractors.
• Review drawings and technical information for buildability, compliance and construction readiness.
• Coordinate planning approvals, statutory applications and discharge of planning conditions.
• Work with Construction, Commercial, Land, Planning and Sales teams to align technical requirements.
• Review and coordinate specialist subcontractor and supplier design information.
• Identify and resolve technical issues throughout the design and construction process.
• Support value engineering and design optimisation while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure projects comply with building regulations, CDM and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate technical records and document information throughout lifecycle.
• Support Golden Thread implementation and technical handover.
• Provide technical support to the wider project team and mentor junior members.
