Job summary

ARC (Norwich) Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Coordinator to join its Cambridge team. You will coordinate the design and technical delivery of high-quality residential developments from pre-construction through to construction.

You will work with architects, engineers and subcontractors to ensure buildability, compliance and timely delivery, while supporting value engineering and Golden Thread handover across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Technical Coordinator, Senior Technical Coordinator or similar role within residential construction.
• Strong experience coordinating residential design and technical information.
• Strong understanding of planning, building regulations, statutory approvals and technical compliance.
• Knowledge of CDM, Building Regulations and current technical requirements.
• Understanding of Golden Thread principles and information management requirements.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of technical coordination across multiple residential developments.
• Coordinate design information and ensure delivery aligns with project programmes.
• Manage relations with architects, engineers, consultants and subcontractors.
• Review drawings and technical information for buildability and compliance.
• Coordinate planning approvals and discharge of planning conditions.
• Collaborate with Construction, Commercial, Land, Planning and Sales teams on technical requirements.
• Review specialist subcontractor and supplier design information.
• Identify and resolve technical issues through design and construction.
• Support value engineering while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, CDM requirements and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate technical records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
