Job summary

SJC Legal is seeking an experienced Technical Conveyancer to join its Manchester-based senior management team. This role focuses on technical oversight rather than handling a personal caseload and offers hybrid working, a clear pathway to directorship, and a collaborative leadership environment.

You will manage a small team, review complex title checks, and provide guidance to conveyancers while ensuring efficient progression of residential files.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or licensed conveyancer with CLC or Chartered Legal Executive status.
• Minimum of 2 years' post-qualified experience in conveyancing.
• Strong technical Residential Conveyancing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small team of Conveyancers and Paralegals.
• Provide technical oversight across the team and guide complex files.
• Review and sign off titles; check complex title issues.
• Review bank statements and financial documentation in the conveyancing process.
• Act as senior technical escalation point for team.
