Job summary

Indevor Group is seeking a Group Technical & Commercial Manager to blend civil engineering expertise with direct developer engagement and commercial responsibility within Indevor Infra. You will respond to demand, understand development requirements and help grow the business, collaborating with sales and marketing to progress opportunities.

The role requires technical credibility, commercial acumen, and willingness to travel to client meetings and sites, with Warrington as the preferred base

Qualifications

• Experience in housebuilding or development infrastructure.
• Senior Engineer level or equivalent technical responsibility.
• Ability to engage directly with developers and communicate technical matters clearly.
• Commercial judgement to assess opportunities and prepare proposals using an established pricing methodology.
• Willingness to travel to client meetings and sites; Warrington base preferred or Midlands base considered.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the technical and commercial assessment of opportunities.
• Act as a knowledgeable technical contact for housebuilders and developers; respond to enquiries and build trusted relationships.
• Meet with developer clients and visit sites to understand requirements and discuss projects.
• Assess opportunities using civil engineering knowledge; identify key technical considerations.
• Prepare pricing and commercial proposals using the firm’s pricing framework.
• Work with sales and marketing on introductions, client relationships and proposals.
• Translate complex engineering requirements into practical, commercial solutions for clients.
• Coordinate technical information across teams to support timely responses.
• Contribute to improvements in technical and commercial working practices.
• Own workstreams and collaborate across the business to develop capability.
