A leading company in housing design and innovation seeks a qualified Civil/Building Engineer to join their Design and Technical teams. The role involves managing technical information, ensuring compliance with building regulations, and overseeing project specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in construction, and proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit. The Design and Technical teams are involved in all aspects of housing design and innovation. This team is responsible for researching the best materials at the best cost.
Design considerations include the variety of sites, many using existing buildings, each with unique challenges. The team also focuses on new materials, sustainability, and value, while complying with evolving building and environmental legislation.
Most team members have an architectural or engineering background. We offer opportunities to gain expertise in design and project management in a stimulating environment.
Reporting to the Technical Manager, your responsibilities include ensuring all technical information is available for the Construction Team and other departments, liaising with and advising on technical matters, and coordinating all technical information from project inception to completion.
