Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd is seeking experienced Technical Authorities to support GE gas turbine maintenance, inspection, overhaul and outage projects onshore and offshore. This LTD contractor role offers technical leadership and assurance throughout the project, working closely with engineering, site management and mechanical teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive GE gas turbine experience and demonstrated leadership capability.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and procedures.
• Proven track record as a Technical Authority or senior engineer on turbine outages.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical authority and engineering support throughout GE gas turbine projects.
• Act as the technical point of contact for turbine-related engineering queries.
• Provide technical guidance to site and mechanical teams.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, procedures and technical documentation.
• Support planning and execution of turbine maintenance, inspection and overhaul activities.
• Provide technical input into work scopes, methodologies and project planning.
• Review technical issues and provide appropriate engineering recommendations.
• Support technical decision-making during outages and maintenance activities.
• Liaise with engineering, project management, client and site teams.
• Monitor technical quality and provide engineering assurance.
• Support investigation and resolution of technical defects and non-conformances.
• Promote strong safety, quality and engineering standards across the project.
• Provide technical reports and documentation as required.
