Job summary

Quest Global seeks an experienced Gas Turbine Drawing Checker to provide independent technical assurance of engineering drawings and data before release. The role requires operating with minimal supervision and applying delegated authority across complex turbine components and interfaces.

Candidate will review 3D CAD models, GD&T, tolerances, and BOMs, collaborating with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure safety, quality and manufacturability standards are met.

Qualifications

• OEM-delegated drawing checking approval for gas turbine products.
• 5+ years in gas turbine mechanical design and drawing checking.
• Proven ability to check GD&T, tolerances, materials and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Independently check turbine drawings per OEM procedures and delegated authority.
• Verify design intent, tolerances, GD&T and drawing conventions.
• Ensure consistency between 3D models, drawings, BOMs and specs.
• Assess producibility, inspectability and maintainability of drawings.
• Record findings, escalate issues and support right-first-time closure.
• Provide coaching to designers and checked colleagues.
