Job summary

GMP Recruitment is partnering with a leading manufacturing business in Pershore to recruit an experienced Technical Author for a full-time, permanent position. You will work hands-on with machinery to translate complex engineering into clear manuals and qualification packages.

This office-based role runs Monday–Friday 08:00–16:30, with a salary up to £40,000 depending on experience. It offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to world‑leading manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a technical authoring role with engineering or automation background.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; excellent written English.
• Organised, detail-oriented and engineering-minded.

Responsibilities

• Produce full documentation packages (Manuals, IQ/OQ, SDS, HDS, DQ, FDS).
• Work directly with machinery to ensure documentation accuracy.
• Contribute to department to streamline documentation processes.
• Ensure all documentation meets required industry standards.
