Job summary

University of Cambridge seeks a Senior Technical Analyst for the Aviation Impact Accelerator (AIA). Based in Cambridge, you will lead modelling and software development, directing technical staff and delivering cutting-edge research outputs for decarbonising aviation.

You will combine modelling, software development (Excel, Python, React) and policy-aware analysis with excellent communication to engage stakeholders and funders. Fixed-term, 12 months.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education with research or analysis component.
• Postgraduate qualifications or demonstrable equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver research outputs and projects for the AIA team.
• Oversee other technical staff working in this area.
• Maintain and develop AIA modelling software to support work delivery.
• Contribute to external reports and grant proposals under supervision.
• Provide high-level advice to internal and external stakeholders and leaders.
