Job summary

Boston Dynamics is seeking a Technical Accounting and Reporting Manager to strengthen the financial reporting framework as the company expands globally.

You will drive revenue recognition, leases, stock-based compensation, and the maintenance of the Company Accounting Manual, while coordinating external audits and ensuring robust controls across close processes. Collaboration with IT, operations, legal, and other finance teams will be critical to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA or equivalent certification.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting within a high-growth tech/robotics environment.
• Experience driving revenue recognition, leases, and stock-based compensation accounting.

Responsibilities

• Support the technical accounting function in revenue recognition, leases, stock-based compensation, and other complexities.
• Monitor new accounting pronouncements and support implementation of changes.
• Maintain the Company Accounting Manual ensuring US GAAP/IFRS compliance.
• Lead month-end close and assist with quarterly consolidation and IFRS reporting to investors.
• Support US GAAP and IFRS audits, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of deliverables.
• Assist with BE-15 reporting for foreign direct investment and ERP/CRM integrations to improve close processes.
• Collaborate with IT, operations, legal, and cross-functional teams to drive internal controls improvements.
