Job summary

Wise is seeking a Senior Technical Accounting Manager with expertise in financial instruments and US GAAP to join our Finance team. You will ensure the accounting for our treasury products is accurate, complete, and aligned with IFRS and regulatory requirements.

Your mission includes owning accounting policies, documenting positions, supporting product implementations, and explaining complex accounting to non-finance stakeholders and external auditors.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of accounting for financial instruments under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Ability to document accounting positions and support implementation of new treasury products.
• Experience explaining complex accounting to non-finance stakeholders and external auditors.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting for financial instruments under US GAAP and IFRS; document accounting position papers and support product implementations.
• Collaborate with Finance and Wise teams to embed accounting into business processes and update accounting policies.
