Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a knowledgeable Corporate Treasury Assurance professional to advise a diverse portfolio of corporate clients on complex accounting matters and financial instruments. The role blends technical analysis with practical, commercially focused solutions in a flexible, hybrid London setting.

You will lead engagements, shape reporting, and collaborate across treasury, valuations and technology teams while driving business development and innovative, AI-enabled delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting experience, with meaningful exposure to financial instruments accounting.
• Working knowledge of IFRS 9 and IFRS 7; exposure to FRS 102, US GAAP, new standards or valuation concepts is advantageous.
• Experience gained in advisory, audit or an industry technical accounting role.
• Ability to run workstreams or engagements, manage competing priorities and communicate complex matters clearly.
• A collaborative, commercial mindset and enthusiasm for business development, innovation and AI-enabled delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of non-audit technical accounting engagements, from scoping and planning through to high-quality reporting.
• Advise on the classification, measurement, impairment, presentation and disclosure of financial instruments, including hedge accounting matters.
• Deliver broader accounting advisory support across standards and transactions, including new standards and complex financing, refinancing and restructuring activity.
• Translate technical requirements into clear, practical recommendations for finance and treasury stakeholders.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary Deloitte teams and manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks and quality.
• Build trusted client relationships and contribute to proposals, market initiatives and the development of new opportunities.
• Coach and develop colleagues, creating an inclusive environment in which people can build confidence and technical expertise.
• Challenge established ways of working and help identify responsible applications of AI in technical accounting, both within Deloitte and for clients.
