Job summary

Capita plc is seeking a Senior Technology Delivery Lead to oversee the delivery of complex technology solutions, combining technical depth with leadership and client engagement.

You will work with architects, engineers and platform specialists to challenge designs, ensure robust, scalable and secure solutions, and align them with client outcomes. Eligibility for SC clearance is required and you will lead multidisciplinary teams to drive delivery success.

Qualifications

• Significant senior-level experience delivering large-scale enterprise technology solutions.
• Hands-on technical engagement while in a senior leadership role.
• Experience with major platforms and ecosystems (AWS, Azure, Salesforce, Snowflake, ServiceNow).
• Experience with hyperscalers, vendors, partners on architecture and roadmaps.
• Broad understanding of cloud, SaaS/PaaS, APIs, data platforms, cybersecurity, DevOps.
• Proven experience making, reviewing or challenging significant architecture and technology decisions.
• Experience applying Agile, DevOps and IT service-management in complex delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technology delivery across complex programmes and services.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership with architects, engineers and specialists.
• Review and challenge solution designs, technology choices and delivery approaches.
• Maintain depth to identify design weaknesses, risks and issues.
• Balance strategic direction with practical delivery constraints and client priorities.
• Establish governance and provide clear reporting to leadership and clients.
• Drive continuous improvement across engineering quality and delivery practices.
