Job summary

Pernod Ricard UK is seeking an experienced solicitor to join our Glasgow-based legal team. You will draft and negotiate technology and commercial contracts, support procurement, and advise on data protection and cybersecurity.

The role offers hybrid or remote working and close collaboration with global stakeholders across Tech, Procurement and Legal. You must be a qualified solicitor with 3+ years in commercial/tech law, fluent in English, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• You are a qualified solicitor in Scots or English law.
• Minimum of 3 years PQE in commercial and technology law with strong exposure to IT contracts, SaaS and data protection.
• Solid experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in an international environment.
• Comfortable working with cross-functional and global stakeholders, building strong relationships across teams.
• Comfortable working alone on matters, while escalating when required.
• Fluent in English; French and/or Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Curious, agile, and interested in technology, digital transformation and innovation.
• Organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Business-oriented, pragmatic, and able to balance legal risk with operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of technology and commercial contracts (SaaS, cloud, software licensing, IT services, outsourcing).
• Work autonomously with stakeholders in a busy legal team.
• Support procurement activities, including RFx processes, supplier selection, and contract award negotiations.
• Provide legal support on operational matters (procurement, supply chain, supplier disputes) and help resolve contractual issues.
• Collaborate with in-house experts on data protection and cybersecurity matters and AI-related topics.
