Job summary

COREcruitment Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead and develop an established Tax function within a professional services business. This is a newly shaped leadership opportunity with scope to grow the team and shape performance.

You will lead a team of 5, manage senior client relationships and advisory work, and act as the senior technical escalation point while driving WIP, pricing and profitability.

Qualifications

• CTA qualified or equivalent.
• Strong Corporation Tax background.
• Experience in professional services/accountancy practice.
• Commercial awareness advising owner-managed or entrepreneurial businesses.
• Hospitality or leisure experience would be advantageous.

• Manage senior client relationships and advisory work
• Act as the senior technical escalation point
• Drive WIP, recovery, pricing and profitability
• Identify and develop new advisory opportunities across the wider client base
• Work closely with senior leadership to shape the future of the Tax function

Candidate Profile:

• CTA qualified or equivalent
• Strong mixed-tax experience with a solid Corporation Tax background
• Professional services/accountancy practice experience preferred
• Strong commercial awareness and experience advising owner-managed or entrepreneurial businesses
• Hospitality or leisure experience would be advantageous
