Qualifications

• CTA qualified or equivalent required to lead tax work.
• Strong mixed tax experience with solid Corporation Tax background.
• Experience in professional services or accountancy practice preferred.
• Excellent commercial awareness and advising owner-managed businesses.
• Hospitality or leisure industry experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 5 in the tax function.
• Manage senior client relationships and provide advisory work.
• Act as the senior technical escalation point for tax matters.
• Drive WIP, recovery, pricing and profitability of engagements.
• Identify and develop new advisory opportunities across the client base.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the future of the tax function.

• Work closely with senior leadership to shape the future of the Tax function

Candidate Profile

• CTA qualified or equivalent
• Strong mixed:tax experience with a solid Corporation Tax background
• Professional services/accountancy practice experience preferred
• Strong commercial awareness and experience advising owner:managed or entrepreneurial businesses
• Hospitality or leisure experience would be advantageous
