Job summary

KPMG in Cambridge is seeking a Corporate Tax Advisory and Compliance Senior Manager to lead tax advisory, compliance management and business development for a growing client base. The role sits in our Cambridge office within the East Anglia Corporate Tax Advisory & Compliance team, and embraces flexible working while maintaining client service excellence.

You will act as the principal contact for top clients, supervise tax computations, and coordinate cross-tax solutions with senior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Qualified (ACA or CTA or equivalent)
• Sound knowledge of UK corporate taxation and ideally awareness of international tax issues
• Sound knowledge of accounting for tax including deferred taxation and disclosures
• Strong time and task management skills
• Ability to build good relationships with clients
• Communicates with impact and works well in a team

Responsibilities

• Act as principal contact with clients on day-to-day tax matters and coordinate with managers and partners
• Lead tax advisory and planning work for client portfolios with senior colleagues
• Assist with business development and client events
• Coordinate internal teams to deliver a cross-tax offering
• Review corporation tax computations and advise on contentious issues
• Coordinate tax payments, loss relief, capital allowances and group relief
• Coach and develop junior staff and manage timelines
