Job summary

EY in Reading seeks a Tax Senior to drive delivery of international tax advisory projects across Banking, Insurance and Wealth & Asset Management. You’ll build client relationships and oversee high‑quality technical work in a fast‑moving environment.

You’ll mentor juniors, develop internal networks and contribute to the growth of EY’s FS ITTS practice, helping clients navigate UK and international tax developments with commercial insight.

Qualifications

• Experience as tax practitioner, including experience reviewing the work of others.
• Relevant professional qualification such as ATT, ACA, CA or CTA, or equivalent breadth of knowledge, for example through a legal qualification.
• An undergraduate or postgraduate degree, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience working with financial services clients would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering exceptional client service.
• Support the successful delivery of tax advisory projects, combining technical excellence with a practical, commercially focused approach.
• Identify opportunities to add value to clients, drawing on experience from other engagements, technical training and knowledge-sharing across the team.
• Develop strong internal and external networks and build relationships across the wider business.
• Support, coach and develop junior colleagues.
• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the FS ITTS team.
