Job summary

Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment is seeking an Interim Senior Tax Accountant for a leading UK professional services firm in Birmingham on a 6-month contract. You will lead UK and international tax compliance and advisory work, partnering with the finance leadership team to shape tax strategy.

Key duties include preparing VAT, corporation tax, and LLP tax computations, coordinating with external advisers, and delivering practical tax advice to senior stakeholders while ensuring HMRC compliance

Qualifications

• CTA or ACA/ACCA qualification with strong tax experience.
• Broad technical knowledge across direct, indirect, employment and international tax.
• Confidence dealing with HMRC and managing external advisers.
• Available immediately or on short notice.
• Partnership or LLP tax experience preferably within a law firm or professional services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review LLP tax computations and allocation of profits to partners.
• Coordinate partner tax reporting, reserves and payments with external advisers.
• Prepare and review corporation tax computations, returns and provisions.
• Own end-to-end UK and international VAT compliance.
• Support PAYE, NI and benefits compliance and remuneration/mobility advice.
• Manage international tax compliance, incl. transfer pricing, treaties and withholding tax.
• Provide clear, practical tax advice to senior stakeholders and support business projects.

Marc Daniels are recruiting for an Interim Senior Tax Accountant to join a leading UK professional services firm on a 6 month contract. This is a broad, hands-on role leading the firm's tax compliance and advisory work across its UK and international operations, working closely with the finance leadership team.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and reviewing the annual LLP tax computation / allocation of taxable profits to partners
• Coordinating partner tax reporting, reserves and payments with external advisers
• Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations, returns and provisions
• Owning end-to-end UK and international VAT compliance
• Supporting PAYE, NI and benefits compliance and advising on remuneration and mobility
• Managing international tax compliance, including transfer pricing, treaties and withholding tax
• Give clear, practical tax advice to senior stakeholders and supporting business projects
