Job summary

Our Lady of Lourdes RCPS is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. The role involves supporting children with special educational needs within a Catholic ethos and delivering targeted interventions under the guidance of the class teacher.

The successful candidate will work 31 hours per week during term time, including 2.5 hours of mid-day supervision, with a focus on inclusive education and safeguarding within our school community.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting children with special educational needs.
• Ability to deliver interventions demonstrating impact on attainment and progress.
• Clear understanding of the Catholic faith and upholding the school's ethos.

Responsibilities

• Work with the class teacher and support one or more SEND pupils in the classroom.
• Provide general classroom support and deliver targeted interventions as directed by the class teacher.
