Job summary

Randstad Education are seeking a positive SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Autism in an outstanding school near Littlehampton. Role covers KS2–KS4 (ages 9–16) in 1:1, small groups, and class settings. Full training provided; a nurturing, creative approach is valued.

The role is full-time and permanent, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, term-time only. Benefits include funded qualifications, on-site parking, and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with learners with various learning difficulties.

Responsibilities

• Providing teaching assistance to the teacher according to planning.
• Working 1:1 with students.
• Providing group and/or individual activities planned by the teacher.
• Working with learners to develop work.
• Supporting learners' well-being within the school structure.
• Monitoring and evaluating student learning under teacher guidance.
• Assisting teachers with management strategies for a purposeful learning environment.
• Supporting learners in planned structured work across curriculum areas.
