Job Description:

As part of our continued growth, we are excited to be adding a Senior Systems Support Analyst to our Brighton team!

Based in our Brighton HQ, you will be a crucial member of our IT function - supporting your Brighton colleagues in a variety of different ways.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Systems Support Analyst at MPB, you will maintain, support, and govern our IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and secure IT services - whilst providing patient and empathetic end-user support.

You will work closely with the Lead IT Manager to prioritize and execute the IT roadmap - continually driving improvement, and ensuring that business requirements are met.

There will be the opportunity to participate and lead on a broad range of cross-functional global IT projects, ensuring that objectives and deliverables are successfully completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing local and remote end-user support for company IT hardware and software, focusing on the UK employee base, but covering other operations as required
  • Governance, operation, maintenance, and monitoring of IT infrastructure and systems, including networks, hardware/software, and meeting room AV equipment
  • Onboarding/off-boarding of employees ensuring best-in-class onboarding experience for new starters, whilst maintaining IT asset and system account governance
  • Ensure the availability, security, and reliability of IT systems, proactively identifying and resolving any issues or vulnerabilities.
  • Creating and maintaining IT governance policies and procedures
  • Driving technology decisions and best practices for company information security policies, working under the Lead IT Manager
  • Creating documentation for and training company employees on use of company resources and security policies
  • Procurement and administration of company hardware and software licenses, including best practice commercial approach alongside Finance team.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their technology needs and requirements
  • Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement and automation
  • Lead on IT projects and assist other IT team members on projects they lead, providing excellent stakeholder communications throughout and role-modeling a culture of clear accountability across the IT team
  • Promote a culture of approachability, empathy, and customer service
