Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience programming in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years of people management experience.
• 3 years of experience leading projects and working with administration or networking.
• Masters degree preferred in CS or related field involving coding.
• Track record mentoring technical leads and leading multiple technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software and systems engineers on user-focused projects and ensure uptime.
• Own end-to-end availability and performance of key services and build automation.
• Automate responses to all non-exceptional service conditions.
• Mentor the team and establish credibility through high-quality technical work.
• Manage on-call rotations across continents using a follow-the-sun model.
• Design, write, and deliver software to improve service availability and efficiency.
