Cirrus Selection is recruiting an Integration & Test Engineer to join a high-impact engineering team in Bedfordshire. You will manage system integration and test activities across the full lifecycle, delivering verification, analysis and customer acceptance on technically demanding projects.

The role offers a 4-day working week (Mon–Thu), hybrid working, and a competitive salary of up to £57,950 depending on experience, with clear career development in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Planning, developing and executing system integration and test activities.
• Producing high-quality test plans, procedures, reports and technical documentation.
• Integrating complex hardware and software systems.
• Analysing test data and identifying faults within sophisticated engineering solutions.
• Managing and coordinating external test facilities and trials.
• Supporting system verification, qualification and customer acceptance activities.
• Working closely with engineers across multiple disciplines to deliver projects to demanding timescales.
• Participating in on-site trials and customer demonstrations where required.

Job description

Location: Bedfordshire | 4 day week | High impact engineering

Salary: Up to £57,950 P.A. Dependent on experience (4 day working week)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

You will be involved throughout the integration and test lifecycle, from planning and execution through to qualification, analysis and customer acceptance, working alongside talented multidisciplinary engineers on technically demanding projects.

What you will be doing

• Planning, developing and executing system integration and test activities.

What we are looking for

• Proven experience in Systems Integration and Test Engineering.
• Experience creating and executing structured test plans, procedures and reports.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills within complex systems.
• Knowledge of test instrumentation and data acquisition equipment.
• Experience using operating systems, interfaces, emulators and configuration tools.
• Excellent communication and technical report writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience with any of the following would be advantageous:

• IBM Rational Quality Manager
• Cameo Systems Modeler
• Software-integrated or IP-networked systems
• Vehicle systems integration
• Qualification and verification programmes within highly regulated engineering environments
