Saab Seaeye Ltd seeks a Systems Engineering Lead for its Fareham team, delivering complex underwater robotics solutions. You will bridge mechanical, electrical, software domains and lead multi-disciplinary engineers to ensure on-time delivery and robust architectures.

You will drive requirements capture, create system designs, and provide cradle-to-grave engineering support across development stages, while communicating with customers and suppliers. A strong leadership mindset is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Extensive experience in systems engineering roles.
• Knowledge of SysML/UML design methodologies.
• Experience with black-box system design and interface control.
• Experience with requirements management including validation & verification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience leading multiple engineers in technical work packages.
• Experience leading complex, concurrent systems engineering projects.
• Proven track record in planning and managing work packages.

Aufgaben

• Lead development of the systems/sub-system architecture and technical solution.
• Translate customer needs into engineering solutions via requirements capture, use-cases and system design.
• Define system functionality, performance interfaces and behaviours.
• Make technical decisions and manage design compromises.
• Maintain the systems architecture design through complex multi-disciplinary teams.
• Provide cradle-to-grave systems support through definition, design, testing and delivery.
• Proactively manage change through the development lifecycle.
• Represent technically to customers and subcontractors.
• Design and develop robust system architectures spanning electrical, mechanical and software interfaces.
• Modeling and simulation to define R&D scope.
