Job summary

2MRW Group is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (Team Lead) to oversee the firm’s infrastructure with a focus on Active Directory, Azure, MFA, and VMware ESX. The role involves leading technical projects, collaborating across Cloud & Compute Engineering, IT Operations, and security teams.

The candidate should demonstrate strong scripting (PowerShell), advanced AD expertise, and proven leadership in dynamic environments, delivering reliable, secure solutions with good communications skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in production environment
• 3–5 years managing authentication services
• 5+ years automation experience (PowerShell/Terraform)
• 5+ years Active Directory experience
• Familiarity with MFA, Azure IaaS/PaaS
• Experience with AD security and hardening

Responsibilities

• Administer and operate firm infrastructure; manage AD, DNS, DHCP and PKI
• Lead Azure IaaS/PaaS and Office 365/Exchange Online tasks
• Maintain hardware/software on virtualized Windows network
• Develop processes to ensure high availability, security and quality
• Lead AD consolidation security workstream; remediate gaps
• Guide change management processes and capacity forecasting
• Manage crisis situations and provide escalation guidance
• Advise on information security risk and compliance
• Coordinate with Cloud, Compute and Messaging Engineering teams
• Provide cross-functional leadership and mentoring to team members
