Job summary
Motorola Solutions UK Limited is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for the Hosted Applications Team. The role is primarily remote with occasional travel to offices to engage with police forces and stakeholders.
You will own end-to-end operations for the Pronto Digital Policing application, manage deployments, and ensure security and data integrity across SQL Server clusters. You will coordinate with software engineering and shared services, lead technical discussions, and mentor engineers while
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive Systems/Hosted Applications Engineering experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical sections of customer service reviews and weekly meetings with stakeholders.
- Monitor system performance against SLAs and drive improvements to minimise downtime.
- Coordinate release management activities, including hotfixes and feature rollouts.
- Manage lifecycle of customer data with audits and governance.
- Collaborate with Shared Services to translate demands into technical specs and change requests.
- Author and maintain ICDs for external system integration with Pronto platform.
- Assist incident management in diagnosing and resolving complex issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across teams.
