Energy Jobline is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join a pioneering engineering business delivering complex projects within highly regulated industries. You will define, integrate and validate multidisciplinary systems from concept through commissioning, ensuring compliance with technical, safety and customer requirements.

The role suits someone with experience across nuclear, defence or aerospace sectors and a passion for systems thinking and requirements management.

Qualifications

• Experience in highly regulated sectors (nuclear, defence, aerospace) preferred.
• Strong requirements management and traceability throughout lifecycle.
• Ability to work across mechanical, electrical and software disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Support the full project lifecycle from concept to commissioning.
• Capture, analyse and manage system requirements with traceability.
• Develop system architectures and interface definitions using recognised methodologies.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary integration, verification, validation and safety case activities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and customers to deliver robust technical solutions.
