Job summary

Rullion is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (mechanical biased) to provide systems engineering leadership across the full lifecycle—from requirements capture and architecture definition through integration, verification, validation and commissioning. You will mentor junior engineers and support technical bids, while ensuring regulatory and customer requirements are met.

Role is based on-site in Twyford, Winchester, with a probation period and a transition to a 3-days-per-week in-office

Qualifications

• Capture, analyse and manage system requirements with full traceability to verifications.
• Develop and manage system architectures, functional models and interfaces.
• Lead integration across mechanical, electrical, control and software domains.
• Define verification & validation strategies meeting regulatory and customer requirements.
• Support safety case input, hazard analyses and risk assessments.
• Interface with subcontractors to manage technical deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering leadership across the full lifecycle from concept to commissioning.
• Mentor junior engineers and support technical bids.
• Drive continuous improvement of systems engineering practices.
• Ensure configurations, baselines and change control are well managed.
