Job summary

Netrio is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our Managed Services team. You will be the highest escalation point for complex tickets, mentor junior engineers, and work directly with clients to ensure seamless IT operations.

The role requires deep knowledge of infrastructure, networks, security, and systems, with strong communication and problem-solving skills to deliver strategic IT solutions and ensure business continuity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT support, MSP preferred.
• Expert-level Windows Server knowledge (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO).
• Experience with VMware/Hyper-V virtualization.
• Cloud proficiency: Azure and AWS.
• Solid networking knowledge: firewalls, VPNs, switches, VLANs.
• Backup and disaster recovery experience.
• Strong problem-solving and written/verbal communication.
• Certifications such as MCSE/CCNP/VMware VCP or AWS CSA.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced escalation support for servers, networks, and infrastructure.
• Administer and maintain client IT environments across on-prem and cloud.
• Configure and troubleshoot network devices and security solutions.
• Lead large-scale projects like server migrations and cloud deployments.
• Advise clients with strategic IT recommendations and continuity planning.
• Document systems and processes; mentor Tier 1/2 engineers.
• Develop automation scripts to improve efficiency.
