Job summary

Archer Recruitment Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a major enterprise project in Greater Manchester on a 6-month contract with strong extension potential.

You will gain hands-on exposure to VMware and Nutanix within a large global infrastructure, working across Windows Server, Azure, and Microsoft 365, as part of a tenant-to-tenant migration and broader transformation program.

Hybrid working model in Greater Manchester supports collaboration with global teams.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with VMware in a large enterprise environment.
• Experience across Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory/Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
• Existing Nutanix experience is beneficial, but the opportunity is particularly suited to strong VMware professionals looking to expand into Nutanix.

VMware remains one of the most widely used virtualisation platforms in enterprise infrastructure, but with organisations increasingly reviewing the cost and flexibility of their VMware estates, Nutanix is becoming an increasingly relevant technology for infrastructure professionals to have on their CV.

This is an opportunity for an experienced VMware Engineer to gain genuine hands-on exposure to Nutanix while working within a large, global infrastructure environment. You'll work across VMware, Nutanix and the wider Microsoft stack, including Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory/Entra ID and Microsoft 365.

The role sits within a major infrastructure transformation programme, including a significant tenant-to-tenant migration, giving you the opportunity to broaden your skillset while working on a long-term enterprise engagement.
