Job summary

Leonardo UK in Luton is seeking a Systems Engineer to join a predominantly office and laboratory-based team working on defence technology, including Tempest and GCAP projects. You will contribute to requirements, test plans, and system integration with suppliers across the UK.

A science-based honours degree and MBSE knowledge are desirable; five years UK residency is preferred. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Science-based honours degree or equivalent experience
• Experience or a desire to gain electronic warfare domain knowledge
• Knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle, MBSE, modelling and verification

Responsibilities

• Development of Requirements and Test Plans
• Control of Parts and Documentation, including change management
• Collaboration with multi-functional teams on system and sub-system development for Tempest and GCAP
• Work with suppliers, integrators, and users across the UK
