Job summary

Tiger Resourcing Group is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for a North London-based role in the defence and maritime sector. The role covers the full lifecycle from concept through in-service support, across multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-integrity products.

The ideal candidate will lead design, integration, verification, and delivery of complex electro-mechanical and software-driven systems, with a track record in customer-facing documentation and proposals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Mathematics or Physics required.
• Experience in systems design, integration and test.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Excellent stakeholder communication, both internal and external.
• UK Driving Licence.
• Eligible for UK Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering across the full lifecycle from concept to in-service support.
• Oversee integration, verification and validation activities.
• Collaborate with software, electrical and mechanical engineering teams.
• Contribute to technical proposals, bids, and customer documentation.
• Interface with customers and external stakeholders.
• Mentor and support junior engineers.
• Deliver work packages on time, cost, and quality targets.
• Support external test houses and verification to defence standards.
