Job summary

Lockheed Martin is urgently recruiting several Systems Engineers to be based predominantly on-site at our Ampthill, Bedfordshire offices. These roles will support the Engineering Team across multiple Business Areas, including Special Projects and Platform Systems.

The roles require demonstrable knowledge of systems engineering, designing and integrating complex systems with significant software components, and experience in modelling, simulation and V&A activities.

Qualifications

• Experience of systems engineering lifecycle through the life of a large scale systems development programme.
• Modelling and simulation with Matlab/Simulink.
• Experience in the Verification and Validation lifecycle.
• Development of Verification & Acceptance (V&A) statements.
• Knowledge of Communications & RF Network Architectures.
• Change proposal assessment and embodiment.
• Working understanding of Def-Stan, MIL-STD and industry best practice.
• Understand nuances of system limitations and behaviours at system level.

Responsibilities

• Based predominantly on-site at Ampthill, Bedfordshire offices.
• Backfill role supporting the Engineering Team across Special Projects and Platform Systems.
• Roles driven by Uncrewed Turret activity requiring SME support.
• Demonstrable knowledge in Systems Engineering, Designing and Integrating Complex Systems with significant Software.
