Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers seeks a Senior Systems Engineer for Ampthill to work on complex programmes in a classified environment. A high level UK security clearance is required due to project nature.

You will derive requirements, shape architecture, and deliver technical trade studies while collaborating with software and multidisciplinary teams across data distribution systems, AI/ML topics, and agile development practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with systems engineering in a classified environment.
• Familiar with UAF/NAF architecture frameworks.
• Proficient in SysML/UML using CAMEO or Rhapsody.
• Experience with IBM Jazz, DOORS-NG and Test/Quality Manager.
• Proficient with MATLAB and Simulink.
• Knowledge of AI/ML tools and techniques.
• Experience with Agile teams, Sprints and Kanban.
• Familiar with SharePoint, JIRA and Confluence.
• Knowledge of modelling and simulation techniques (CFD, trajectory modelling, FEA) or complex algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Requirements derivation and management.
• System architecture and subsystem derivation.
• Definition and delivery of technical trade studies and KPIs.
• Development of Sequence, Activity and Use Case diagrams.
• Interface definition, including ICDs and IDLs.
• Working with data distribution systems and data links.
• Supporting research and development activities.
• Collaborating with software and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
