Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Barnstaple is seeking a System Engineer to support the design, development, and operational support of advanced systems. Qualifications

  • Experience in Verification and Validation processes.
  • Familiarity with requirements management software (e.g., DOORS).
  • Knowledge of electrical design principles.

Responsibilities

  • Support management of Requirements throughout Engineering Lifecycle.
  • Provide Technical inputs to bidding activities.
  • Integrate and qualify production activities.
  • Develop concepts and prototypes into Products.
  • Plan and track Work Packages.

Skills

Knowledge and experience of working within the Verification and Validation
Understanding of requirements capture and experience of using DOORS
Degree, HND or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline
Familiar with systems engineering best practice
Experience with electrical design and product development

System Engineer will be based at our Barnstaple site. This role allows for flexible working.

The salary for this role is up to £55k, depending on experience.

What you’ll be doing
  • Support the management of Requirements throughout the Engineering Lifecycle
  • Proving Technical inputs to bidding activities
  • Integration and production qualification activities
  • Working as a part of team, taking concepts and prototypes, and developing them into Products
  • Planning Work Packages and support the tracking and execution of them
