Job summary

SystemsAccountants Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Development Accountant to lead SunSystems migrations and finance platform implementations in a hybrid London environment. You will optimise existing systems, resolve technical issues and drive data integrity across finance processes.

The role requires 5–7 years in finance systems with SunSystems, Infor ION, API integration and SFTP automation, plus strong project delivery and stakeholder management in a global setting.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years’ experience in finance systems, with a strong background in SunSystems implementations, migrations and integrations.
• Experience across Finance and Technology teams.
• Strong knowledge of SunSystems, Infor ION, Q&A reporting and advanced Excel.
• Experience with APIs, data mapping, integration workflows and SFTP automation.
• Strong project delivery and stakeholder management skills in a global environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementations and migrations of SunSystems and related finance platforms.
• Configure, test and support integrations with internal systems.
• Collaborate with Finance, Technology and external vendors on requirements, data mapping and integration strategies.
• Own Level 3 technical escalations for SunSystems and Q&A.
• Ensure system reliability, data integrity and interface performance during month-end and year-end close.
• Monitor and troubleshoot SFTP data flows and automated processes.
• Manage user access controls for SunSystems and EPM in line with security policies.
• Maintain system documentation, configuration records and standard operating procedures.
• Provide technical guidance, training and ongoing support for finance, invoice workflow and purchasing systems.
• Recommend system enhancements aligned with the global finance technology strategy.

Our client in the hospitality sector is seeking a Senior Systems Development Accountant to lead system migrations and implementations, optimise existing platforms and solve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementations and migrations of SunSystems and related finance platforms.
