South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust in Lewisham is seeking a Principal Family and Systemic Psychotherapist to lead our family and carer offer across five Community Neighbourhood Teams. You will deliver high quality evidence-based therapies including Open Dialogue, Carer Support, and Family Intervention for psychosis, and support wider community development with families and partners.

You will provide autonomous clinical leadership, supervision and contribute to service evaluation,

Qualifications

• Post-graduate qualification in relevant mental health/social welfare profession.
• Masters level qualification in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy or equivalent, UKCP accredited.
• Evidence of continuing professional development as required by UKCP.

Responsabilités

• Provide and develop a highly specialist family and systemic psychotherapy service across adult community services in Lewisham.
• Co-ordinate and chair meetings related to families and carers to review outcomes.
• Implement policies and service changes related to families and carers.
• Ensure resources are maintained and supervised staff are supported.
• Provide professional leadership and day-to-day supervision of junior psychotherapists.
• Plan and undertake teaching and training of pre and post-qualification psychotherapists.
