Job summary

Survey Solutions in Glasgow is seeking a Senior Surveyor to lead and develop a team of surveyors and Trainee staff in a busy engineering surveying practice.

You will supervise, train and mentor the surveying team while delivering large-scale land and measured building surveys to the highest technical standards. A hands-on leader, you will balance fieldwork with project coordination and CAD support.

Qualifications

• Experience as Land & Measured Building Surveyor at Senior/Experienced level.
• Proven ability to supervise and develop a surveying team.
• Proficient with field instruments and CAD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a dedicated surveying team.
• Prepare and run development days for Surveyors and Trainee/Juniors.
• Support and deputize for the Survey Manager, including holiday cover for quotations.
• Complete complex topographical surveys to a high standard.
• Lead large complex projects using topographical and measured building surveying.
• Provide technical support to the surveying team and CAD operators.
