Join to apply for the Senior Surveyor role at Carter Jonas

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced MRICS Associate based in London to work within our Infrastructure team. As an Associate, you will provide property services with a rural focus, including compensation for temporary and permanent acquisitions, as well as valuation of rural land and property. You will assist in leading, developing, and delivering strategic and tactical advice to clients in the infrastructure sector.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Valuation of rural land and property.
  2. Negotiation of compensation claims.
  3. Developing and pursuing new business and relationship opportunities, especially with Claimants/landowners.
  4. Contributing to the development of efficient internal systems and processes, including IT optimization.
  5. Ensuring legal compliance and implementing policies.
  6. Managing surveyors within the team.
  7. Mentoring and coaching junior team members.
Candidate requirements:

You should be a MRICS Surveyor and Registered Valuer with rural sector experience, ideally with knowledge of Compulsory Purchase/Compensation. A business development mindset, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to foster relationships are essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a driving license, are required.
