Job summary

National Care Group is recruiting a Senior Support Worker for National Neurological Services in Preston to support young adults with complex needs on their rehabilitation journey. You will work with a caring team to assess support needs, help individuals set goals and develop new methods to improve the quality of service.

Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice is essential. A Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care is preferred, with a Full UK driving licence to support community

Qualifications

• Have a minimum of a Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or working towards this.
• Able to motivate and manage a team.
• Full UK driver's licence.
• Previous use of electronic support plan/ record systems, ideally nourish.

Responsibilities

• Assist in senior management to assess support needs and develop new ideas and methods regarding the quality of service.
• Support young adults with complex needs to fulfil their potential and regain independence.
