Job summary

Kingsley Specialist Services is seeking a Senior Support Worker for Learning Disability Services. You will work as part of the care team, recognise and facilitate residents' daily needs, conduct formal supervisions and appraisals, and contribute to care planning and coaching of support workers.

The role emphasises high-quality care, promoting independence and dignity, with a PBS-based approach at its core. Reports to Home Manager/Deputy Manager/Nurse.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a senior care role.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Empathetic and caring nature.
• Full UK Driving Licence is preferred, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily care activities and support residents' needs.
• Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals for staff.
