Job summary

Creative Support Ltd in Birmingham is seeking an Acting Senior Support Worker to join a supportive management team. You will help oversee a busy Supported Living Service in Northfield, helping people with learning disabilities to live independently and pursue goals in their own homes.

We require care experience with learning disabilities and autism, strong leadership, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and nights on a rota. Full training and ongoing development are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience managing teams and conducting supervisions.
• Ability to organise rotas and arrange staff training.
• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and autism.
• Flexible rota availability including evenings, weekends, nights.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Service Manager in operational management of supported living services.
• Support service users to live independently and promote wellbeing.
• Lead shifts and supervise staff on duty.
• Be involved in on-call rota.
