Job summary

Voyage Care in Castle Cary is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead our residential service. You will help residents gain independence, support the manager with daily supervision and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to quality care.

The role requires prior Senior Support Worker experience, a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it), and experience with autism, brain injury, and complex behaviours. DBS checks will be completed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Support Worker.
• Level 3 Health & Social Care (or working towards it).
• Experience with autism, acquired brain injury and challenging behaviours.

Responsibilities

• Support residents to gain more independence in daily life.
• Assist with day-to-day supervision and management of the service.
• Allocate shifts, arrange training, induct new staff, and supervise colleagues.
• Support residents with managing finances.
