Job summary

Making Space is seeking a Senior Support Worker for Cedar House in Spalding, Lincolnshire. You will supervise staff, follow care plans, administer medications and assist with daily living to support adults with LD, dementia and mental health needs.

We offer on-site roles with on-the-job training and opportunities for qualifications in Health and Social Care, with progression paths into senior roles within the organisation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience supporting adults in health and social care settings.
• Experience working with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and complex behaviours.
• Ability to supervise staff and delegate to ensure values-based support.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with LD, dementia, mental health and other conditions on a person-centred basis.
• Follow care plans and administer medications as required.
• Assist with daily living tasks and community access.
