Eden Futures is recruiting Senior Support Workers to support individuals living in their own homes and in the community from our Stoke services. The role focuses on delivering direct support, safeguarding, and promoting independence within a values-driven culture.

Formación

• Experience of providing direct support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and/or other complex support needs.
• Strong understanding of person-centered support, safeguarding, dignity, choice and consent.
• Ability to lead by example, organise shift activities and provide practical guidance to colleagues.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, including accurate record keeping.
• Commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion and the rights of the people we support.

Responsabilidades

• Work as part of the frontline team and maintain an active role in delivering direct support.
• Lead allocated shifts, coordinate tasks and ensure support is delivered safely and consistently.
• Set a positive example by upholding Eden Futures values, boundaries and reliability.
• Provide clear direction during shifts within plans, policies and role boundaries.
• Support effective handovers and communicate risks and actions clearly.
• Identify and report safeguarding concerns, accidents and incidents in line with policy.
• Follow risk assessments and health and safety procedures to maintain a safe environment.
