Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead a residential service and support a fantastic group of people. You will assist the Manager with daily supervision, allocate shifts, and coordinate training for colleagues to ensure high standards of care.

You’ll induct new staff, support supervision, order medications, and help people we support gain independence in daily life, underpinned by strong values and a focus on person-centred outcomes.

Qualifications

• Senior experience in a support worker role.
• Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working with autism, brain injury, complex mental health needs and challenging behaviours.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager with day-to-day supervision and service management.
• Allocate shifts and book training for colleagues.
• Induct new staff and support with supervision.
• Order medications and support people to manage finances.
• Help people gain more independence and meet their goals.
