Job summary

CareTech UK Ltd is hiring a Senior Support Worker in Plymstock, Plymouth, to lead a team supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. The role involves supervising staff, implementing support plans, and maintaining high-quality care in a wheelchair-accessible service.

We offer a permanent, full-time position with a rota-based schedule and a benefits package. Successful applicants will have NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent and strong

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of support workers to enable service users to live fulfilling lives
• Act as a role model to staff and help them understand the people supported
• Engage with service users and staff to improve service and staff skills
• Assist with day-to-day implementation of individual support plans and activities
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate notes/records as required
• Collaborate with team to deliver high-quality care
