Job summary

CareTech is recruiting a Senior Support Worker for Cosy Lodge in Charing. The role supports adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs in a 7-bed service.

You will lead a team, ensure person-centred care plans, and participate in the on-call rota on a rotas-based, on-site basis. The service offers on-site parking, ongoing training, enhanced DBS, and progression opportunities within CareTech.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech)

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Support Workers
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred support and maintain care plans
• Coordinate activities and community engagement for the people we support
• Maintain accurate records, incident reports and reviews
• Participate in the Senior On-Call rota and respond to operational needs
